Egloffstein Castle, picturesquely situated on a rocky outcrop above the Trubach Valley, ancestral seat of the Barons von und zu Egloffstein since the 11th century, is one of the landmarks of romantic Franconian Switzerland and is located in the middle of one of the most diverse and attractive recreational areas in Germany.
