The "Sachsenrieder Bähnle" once connected the cities of Kaufbeuren and Schongau - the route was already built in the 19th century. Unfortunately, she did not pay any more at some point, so she was shut down in 1977. Today it is flourishing as a cycle path and pleases you with a well-maintained surface and a great, quiet location. Beautiful can hardly cycle. Relics like this signal system are reminiscent of the previous use.
