Old Parsonage Schapen (Töddenhaus)

A very nice place with a courtyard. The Töddenhaus in Schapen also serves the Spelle community for weddings.

Tödden exhibition in the old Schapen rectory.The old rectory, a pastor's house of the Reformed congregation, is an important architectural monument in the municipality of Schapen and now serves as a community center. A historic brewery and an old village blacksmith's shop are also located in the vicinity of the old half-timbered house. The Schapen Local History Society has set up an exhibition on the history of the traveling merchants in the attic.Source: Information sign on site (see also photos)The garden at the museum is freely accessible, and the half-timbered houses are lovely to look at.Public restrooms in excellent condition are located in front of the museum complex. You can also refill your water bottles there if needed.
