    Nice little village

Not far from the city of Jõgeva is the approximately 700 population of Palamuse, regional "tourism center" and the northern starting point of the nature reserve, which is characterized by hilly landscapes and numerous lakes.

Palamuse is one of the oldest settlements in Estonia. Its origins go back to a village church built in 1234 in honor of St. Bartholomew.

The school building, completed in 1874, now serves as a museum. Thanks to its stylish interior, it is able to vividly take visitors back to the previous century.

There is no question that anyone who is in the region should visit the small town for a few hours. In addition, you get an interesting impression of how everyday life in Estonia is completely isolated.
