If you're cycling the Alpe-Adria Cycle Path, you'll need to take the train here for a few kilometers to travel under the Hohe Tauern mountain range. The train journey on the eight-kilometer route takes about twelve minutes. The Tauern Tunnel train departs from Böckstein southbound hourly, with the first train at 6:20 a.m. and the last at 10:20 p.m. On busy weekends, trains run every 30 minutes.
