A beautiful wooden plank path leads to the Wriakhörnsee. This dune lake is a real paradise for all kinds of sea birds and in summer the ideal place to watch them. While countless seagulls, gray geese and ducks frolic here in summer, in winter you only come across a few isolated geese and ducks.

Easy to reach via the dune trail from the lighthouse. At this freshwater lake many birds can be observed from the numerous resting benches. Nearby, a flagpole marks the transition across the dunes to the largest extent of Kniepsands: absolutely worthwhile with subsequent bathing!
