Heather Farms Park has two lakes, some tree-shaded sections in an otherwise rather summer-dry area, and a system of multi use trails that are also great for biking, notably the paved Ygnacio Canal Trail that connects at the park's north side with the Contra Costa Canal trail, and also meets it again after circling around the eastern side of town.

Heather Farm Park has a natural and a man-made lake, just along the well-paved regional Ygnacio Canal Bike Trail. There are also free tennis courts, a swimming pool, community center, a small Botanical Garden, and community vegetable gardens.
