Engelberg Monastery is worth a detour. Located high above the Main, just before Miltenberg, the ascent is worthwhile to enjoy the wonderful view of the Main valley as well as the good Mönchsbier from Kreuzberg in the Rhön, which is also very tasty in the non-alcoholic version.
