The Bolton Valley Access road is a challenging paved climb. It is fairly sustained, with some short flat sections and brief downhills between steeps. Towards the top, you will encounter a super-steep switchback followed by a sustained pitch all the way to the Bolton Valley ski resort base area. Be sure to save matches early in the climb so you don't blow up near the top, enjoy the view when you get up there and be careful on the way back down!
