Nice route to cycle along the outside of Den Helder. Behind the dike is a great bike path with here and there some gravel / stones on the road. Here you can cycle along the water and see the ferry to Texel. There are also many benches along the road to take a break. You can't get more northern than this on the mainland of North Holland.
