    The Great Buddha of Ushiku, located in Ushiku, Ibaraki, Japan, is a bronze statue of the Great Buddha, 120 meters tall and the sixth tallest statue in the world.
    It is the largest bronze statue in the world. It was built by Higashi Honganji Temple, the head temple of the Higashi Honganji School of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism.
    It is located in the Pure Land Garden where there is a small animal park and flower gardens, and it is a complex with the Ushiku Jyoen park cemetery.
    It covers a total area of 370,000 square meters.
