A wide gravel track leading into remote Strath Dionard, crossing open and largely treeless landscape, between peat bogs, small lochs and burns crossing the track. The current track was opened around 1990 in a territory that had remained almost untouched until then. On dry days with some sun, the contrasts between the green, the mountains, the water and the sky are spectacular. A visually simple tour, but with a huge sense of isolation and wild nature.
