      REMTALCINEMA
The Remstalkino is a specially designed vantage point in the vineyards of Weinstadt. At a height of 385m, visitors enjoy the view above the Weinstadt districts of Beutelsbach and Schnait.

This singular vantage point with 26 cinema chairs made of steel and chestnut wood invites visitors to take a seat, reflect and enjoy the view of the Rems Valley, like in a natural cinema. Like in a 3D cinema without a box office. Almost reverently, the visitors enter the room, their voices become quieter, they put down their backpacks and fall into the cinema seats. The performance starts whenever you are ready. Its duration can be determined by yourself.

The location is always the same, but the film changes constantly in the Remstal cinema at the "Three Giants" viewpoint. With the seasons, with the time of day, with the weather, daily, hourly - there is always a new program. Depending on how turbulent the weather is at the moment is, there are dramatic or gentle changes in the optics: of transparency, of brightness, of closeness and distance, of moods, of the effect on one's own state of mind.

Take a seat on one of the 26 chairs and let yourself be carried away - in the garden show year 2019 and long beyond. As part of the preparations for the Remstal Garden Show in 2019, this project was created in the form of a chair sponsorship. This project was financed in cooperation with the city of Weinstadt by 26 citizens and companies who come from Weinstadt and the surrounding towns in the Remstal.

The lookout is seated like a cinema. The project was realized in the course of the garden show and is probably unique! Locals often refer to the lookout point as "Remstalkino".
