Location consisting of 5 small coves represents one of the most characteristic destinations of the Ostuni coast. The tower of Aragonese origin dominates the dunes and rocks with the usual inevitable frame of Mediterranean scrub. Fun to go on MTB.

Torre Pozzelle is one of the most beautiful coastal areas of the city of Ostuni (BR) in Puglia. This coastal stretch is characterized by a series of small sandy coves (five to be precise) interspersed with large stretches of rocks, lapped by the sea and surrounded by the Mediterranean scrub typical of coastal dunes. An ancient Aragonese tower built between 1565 and 1569 acts as a lookout over this uncontaminated landscape. The coastal tower has half collapsed and despite this it retains a notable charm. The naturalistic area of the coast of Torre Pozzelle contains a high biodiversity of plant and animal species. A place that, thanks to recent protection, can be admired in all its beauty. In addition to 5 enchanting sandy coves enclosed by low rocky cliffs, there is a rare forest of centuries-old juniper trees as well as a small wetland. Torre Pozzella can be reached from the E55 (SS379) that goes from Bari to Ostuni.
