Possen Tower

It is no problem to catch a glimpse of the antics from above: either you climb the 200 steps up to the oldest and with 42 meters the highest truss tower in Europe. Or one ventures into the climbing park and masters well secured various obstacles in dizzy heights. From above, the view opens onto the leisure and recreational park Possen, on a 420 meter high plateau in the woods of the Hainleite, about 3.5 kilometers south of Sondershausen. Here, small and large guests will find plenty of things to do: The zoo with petting zoo is full of red, fallow and mouflon, wild boars, brown bears, horses, donkeys, watussi cattle, emus, meerkats, rabbits, bennett kangaroos and cheetahs extensive enclosures.
