Large nature reserve with many water ditches and fields to enliven the bog. The paths are easy to walk or cycle (grass, fine gravel or completely asphalted) and there are cows, sheep and some species of birds and insects on the meadows.

The Siebendörfer Moor is located southwest of Schwerin and is a fen, which was created by silting a Grundmoränensees. Until the 1920s peat was turfed on small areas.
Now it is a protected landscape area and is partly used as pastureland. Through targeted irrigation, the moor is revived. This contributes significantly to species, biotope and climate protection.
The moor is not only a breeding ground for many species of birds, but also resting and wintering grounds for gray geese and cranes.Through the moor lead paths that are partially paved. Here you can hike well and ride a bike even in bad weather.
Watching the birds is possible from a safe distance, you should have a pair of binoculars.

A real gem what it is located south-west of Schwerin. The landscape protection area Siebendörfer Moor is a fen that has its origins in the Ice Age. It was created from the silting up of a ground moraine lake and can now be safely accessed on foot or by bike on asphalted and paved paths.
