The Otto Leege educational trail, located in the Juister Ostdünen between the Wilhelmshöhe and the goldfish ponds, is an ecologically-artistically designed path whose goal is to familiarize the viewer with the nature of a dune island with its complex contexts. From a viewing platform on the airfield road, which allows a sweeping view of salt marshes, mudflats and mainland coast, it leads over the Jaguar Road to the goldfish ponds and through a wooden gate to a hut, in the life and work of the Juister biologist. Otto Leege (1862-1951) are shown.

From there you walk through a typical dune landscape past information boards and various works of art (such as a harp) up to the northern edge of the dunes, from whose crest the beach and the North Sea can be seen. The trail was created after an idea of the Otto Leege Institute, which is also in cooperation with the National Park Administration of Lower Saxony Wadden Sea and the island community of Juist builder.
