The diverse habitats of Knettishall Heath are home to lots of wildlife. In fact, of the 12,500 species living in the country park, 30% are nationally rare. The landscape, which was shaped by humans as long as 4,000 years ago, boasts heath, woodlands, and riverside meadows, and many trails to explore. The Icknield Way ends in Knettishall Heath and the Peddars Way begins here.
