Hiking

The lake "Am Börnchen" is a former quarry pond. Called "Gaul" by the people of Bauschheim, the lake was a very popular bathing, surfing and meeting point in the early 1980s. Cars from the entire Rhine-Main area were on display. Later the lake was converted into a fishing lake and renatured. Today the lake is a small, somewhat remote and therefore little-visited idyll.
