Mountain biking
The monument commemorates a man who suffered a stroke on a hot summer's day while reading wood at this point. In his helpless position, the man, unable to move, vowed to have a cross erected on the spot if he were saved. And indeed, on the third day a dog roamed the lonely area and found the unfortunate one. The clever animal ran down to the village barking and howling incessantly until its master allowed it to lead him to the remote spot. So the man was saved and the cross erected in gratitude.
