The church stands in a dominant position just behind the Murgiano step in the Sorba district. The point is extremely panoramic and the view sweeps without limits on the plain of ancient olive trees, from Polignano a Mare to Brindisi. A truly breathtaking view, which repays the effort made to reach it: the concrete climb, albeit short, has considerable slopes.
Unfortunately, the site is in disastrous conditions and prey to vandalism, in stark contrast to the beauty of the context in which it is inserted.
