The Hakehaus is a former poorhouse that was donated by Friedrich Hake in 1648. The listed and oldest secular building in Lüdinghausen is owned by the Hake Foundation.
Today, the Hakehaus is used by the association for open youth work in Lüdinghausen, among others.

The Hakehaus is a former poor house, which was founded by Friedrich Hake in 1648. This makes the house the oldest secular building in Lüdinghausen.
After a renovation, the house now serves as a meeting for the elderly and as a youth home. The house, which is over 350 years old, is available to children, adolescents, youth associations and older people alike.
