The Azuer river is a tributary of the Guadiana that runs entirely through the province of Ciudad Real, in a northwesterly direction, on a stretch of about 100 km between Campo de Montiel and the Manchega plain. It is taxed on the left bank inside the Tablas de Daimiel National Park.
