From there you have a great view of the Tschigat (2,998 m)
The Tablander Alm is also on the route of the Meraner Höhenweg.
But you can also take a nice tour from Nasserreith to the Lodner Hütte and further over the Franz-Huber-Steig (is only one place with climbing iron
and easily doable without additional equipment) to the Tablander Alm.
The best time is from mid-June to mid-September.
