Church ruins in the Steinfurth district in the Karlsburg community in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. The church, which is mainly made of fieldstone, was built at the beginning of the 14th century. The brick choir probably dates from the middle of the 14th century. In 1664 the church tower collapsed and destroyed the building. The church has been a ruin ever since.
Next to the ruins is the Steinfurth burial chapel, the former burial chapel of the Bismarck-Bohlen family. It was built in 1858. (Wikipedia)
