The road that leads to the artificial lake of Bongi is truly impressive. This stretch of water is formed by the dam on the Tovere stream, built for the production of hydroelectric energy in the power plant located in the Piani di Mura. The name Bongi derives from the Bonch farmhouse, located north of the town of Mura and on the right of the Tovere stream.
