It is a very attractive, narrow hiking trail that you shouldn't actually cycle on. So it's best to make a note of it for one of your next hikes! The trail runs roughly in a west-east direction through the natural forest and is therefore one of the shortest connections between Nimburg and Emmendingen. As it continues towards Emmendingen, the trail is also called Emmendinger Weg. It crosses a few small streams.

It is also OK for nature lovers and leisurely cyclists to use this trail, as long as they are considerate of hikers. However, it should not be used in wet weather, as it quickly becomes muddy and deep grooves form. It is certainly not suitable for racing mountain bikers and racing cyclists.
