Château du Val is a 17th-century French chateau in a classical style located in the commune of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, at the north end of the Grande Terrasse, in the Yvelines department and the Île-de region -France. It was originally a hunting house built by the architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart for King Louis XIV on the site of an old hunting meeting of Louis XIII.
