The Krummsee is one of the lakes in the Kramsacher lake area, called the "Reintaler Seenplatte", and, like the Reintaler See, is located in a small side valley. South of the Krummsee lies the Buchsee, to the west the Frauensee and above it, somewhat hidden, the Berglsteiner See.

In summer, the approximately 700 m long and 100 m wide Krummsee is a popular swimming lake with a maximum water depth of almost 2.5 meters. Because the water warms up to 25°C, it is considered one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol. A restaurant on the shore provides food and the two sunbathing areas with a 3-meter diving tower, changing rooms and toilets are freely accessible.

With the pedal boat, which you can rent at the lake, you can experience the Krummsee from a different perspective. Because it is located at the foot of the Rofan, it is often used as a stopover during a bike ride or hike to the Rofan peaks, which are up to 2,300 meters high.
