From Trieste to the Slovenian border, this cycle/pedestrian path allows you to pedal safely. It partly follows the route of the former Trieste-Erpelle railway and is named after Giordano Cottur, a former professional cyclist from Trieste. He was one of the best cyclists in Italy between the 1930s and 1940s, managing to finish on the final podium three times.
