A beautiful village with a heart-shaped pond

Enchanting village in the Morainic Hills of Mantua.
The shape of the small heart-shaped lake (hence the name "Lagusello" comes from) is particular.

From the altimetric point of view, the sweetness of the morainic hills does not represent a demanding obstacle. The historic center of Cavriana preserves architectural structures typical of the towns of the upper Mantua, it is worth a visit. Our route takes us in the direction of the Pieve di Cavriana, a Romanesque church from the 11th century from which you can glimpse a suggestive view of the surrounding plain. After crossing cultivated hills and vineyards, we reach the peat bog that forms a lake from which you can enjoy beautiful views of Solferino. Following paths immersed in nature, we arrive at Castellaro Lagusello, a medieval village that is worth a visit. Along the dirt path in Forni from which we can enjoy beautiful views of the castle and the town skyline.
