A great photo opportunity with the rock in the background.

With over 80 meters, the Falkenstein is the highest climbing rock in the Thuringian Forest and rises directly on the lake.

One of the few climbing rocks in Thuringia

Unfortunately, the lake was very dry with us and the poor ducks hardly had anything to swim.

For the third year in a row the lake dried up again this summer. Old Tambacher can only remember 1x where the lake was dry in earlier years
