The Egau spring rises in a spring pot surrounded by a natural stone wall on the southern edge of the city of Neresheim. The Egau is a 45 kilometer long left tributary of the Danube, where the Egau flows into Dillingen.

Cycling

The bike path to Neresheim has already been described. The Egau Ursprung now has water after the heavy rains in November and December. In the summer I was there twice, but the origin of Egau was dried up as well as the entire river which I followed to Dischingen. There are also many other attractions in Neresheim. It's definitely worth it.
