At the end of the 19th century, the large church with two towers made of local sandstone was built in the neo-Romanesque style and consecrated in 1891. A comprehensive restoration took place before the turn of the millennium, during which the original paintings and ornaments were restored. In favor of the urbanistic effect, the sanctuary was not oriented to the east. This is how the portal façade presents itself in all its beauty towards the valley and the town.
