Ridiculous. Sure, "better than nothing", but that can't be the expectation. The path itself is good, but coming from Ehningen it is neither signposted nor easy to reach. The cycle path simply starts. And no, a footpath with "cyclists allowed" is not bicycle infrastructure! Just imagine: A motorway without any signage showing where the entrance is - and a winding field path turns into a six-lane motorway.
In Böblingen you then have to cross four(!!!) traffic lights at one(!) intersection. And you have to bump quite a bit over the pedestrian islands, everything incredibly narrow, before you can continue on the cycle expressway in Böblingen. Accessibility is a foreign concept.
