The Welch and Dickey Mountains are very close in distance one to another and at about the same altitude.

They both offer wonderful open granite section landscapes accompanied by a panorama of forests as far as the eye can see.

Not quite as easy as noted in the description. Loose rocks and lots of roots, steep steps. Good sturdy shoes with good grip soles needed
