Starts of nice and gentle as the road forks and into a small village, gradient undulates between 2-4% initially as you pass rice fields, a small temple and plenty of little farmsteads. This lulls you into a bit of a false sense of security as the other side of the village, the climb really starts to bite, with the final 1.2km gaining 100m+ over an averaging gradient of 8.5%. As is customary with hill climbs large and small here in Korea there is a little tunnel waiting to greet you at the top. The subsequent downhill is zippy and exciting, through more undulating countryside!
