- directly from Mettlach
- from Saarburg via Freudenburg

If you are down on the Saar and want to go up to Cloef, you have few options. Only this route is really suitable for cycling.

Nice, very pleasantly mobile ascent. Also includes some downhill passages. As attractive as the driveway is, you will be rewarded at the top with one of the most famous landmarks of the Saarland.
