The noble land Château du Boisriou belonged in the 15th century to François de Carnavalet, sieur du Boisriou, in Trévou-Tréguignec. This character made himself famous at the court of Henri II and his sons of which he had been governor. He was a knight of the order, grand squire of France, lieutenant of the company of the men-at-arms of Henri III, governor of Anjou, Bourbonnais and Foretz. This same Carnavalet du Boisriou family provided one of the four lieutenants of Louis XIV's guards. It wore: three-sided silver, accompanied by ten martlets, all of sand.
In 1421, Marie du Boisriou transmitted the Château du Boisriou by marriage to the Plusquellec family.
In the seventeenth century, the Château du Boisriou passed into the hands of Madame de Villeneuve du Louët, who was, thanks to this land, recognized as the founder of the parish by the information of 1695. This place then gave its name to the Le family. One-eyed Coëtivy. This family comes from a brother of Guy Le Borgne, the author of the Armorial Breton (1667). This family inherited the Boisriou estate following a marriage in 1677 and has owned it since that time fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tr%C3%A9vou-Tr%C3%A9guignec#Ch%C3 % A2teau_du_Boisriou
