Erzelj Tabor is an ancient fortification located on the top of a hill. In the 14th century, the patriarchs of Aquileia built a castle there to defend against Ottoman invasions. Today, the hill offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding valley. The site is enriched by the presence of two historic churches: the church of Sv. Lovrenc and the church of Sv. Mihael.
