    Mountain biking

In order to connect Lauterbrunnen with the small, car-free resort of Mürren, people have come up with something: First, an aerial cableway brings up to 100 people up to the Grütschalp mountain station within around four minutes. From there, a narrow-gauge railway runs to the Winteregg restaurant and Mürren. Bicycles are allowed - so you can save yourself the strenuous climb to go on a big tour or, for example, to ride the Grütsch Trail, which starts directly behind the mountain station.
