If you are coming from the south, it is better to load the route on your mobile phone beforehand and compare it again and again to see whether you are still reasonably correct. Unfortunately, we made a wrong turn the first time and ended up in the middle of the rocky, spiky botany, there was no going back, that's just a funny story in retrospect, not at the moment. I always take the "Nordweg" back because I personally find climbing downhill a bit dangerous if you are not used to it.

Indescribable view, firm footpath and surefootedness is a must is a rocky finish.

I can only agree with the previous speakers. I also came up the somewhat more complicated and more alpine path. Then it just went down the said path.
So it's better to go straight up on the right side.
All in all, a path that requires good physical condition. Especially at high temperatures.
But the view fully compensates for it.
