The "Moorkuhle" is a typical shallow bog with a depth of water
from approx. 40 to max. 60 cm and a water surface of approx. 1.3 hectares.
The water is located in Appen-Unterglinde right next to the two Distelkuhlen.
Due to various ditches and inlets, there is also water circulation in winter
instead, so that the oxygen content remains in the green even when the ice cover is closed.
You can find peace and relaxation here and there is still a very good fish population.
