Nicknamed the "Venice" of Umbria or "Borgo dei Ruscelli" it is an extremely characteristic village about 20km from Foligno. The waters of the "Menotre" river flow through canalization works, causing a truly spectacular intertwining of reservoirs and waterfalls inside the town. Recommended visit NOT during the summer (or prefer the morning or the very early afternoon) due to the rather high influx. Limited parking availability. On the last Sunday of May the "Villamagina procession" takes place at the sanctuary as a thanksgiving of this town to the Virgin. On the first Sunday of June the "pilgrimage of Scopoli" takes place which the faithful carry out on foot singing and praying. Whit Monday is dedicated to the "procession of Roviglieto". Can be visited safely with sneakers. The "Pale di Foligno and Hermitage of Santa Maria Giacobbe" tour is recommended nearby -> komoot.it/tour/96597342
