Thun is a charming town with many attractions and an interesting old town with a unique castle. This troms over the city, from where the view of the old town, the lake and the Bernese Alps is terrific. The city was founded before 1200 AD by the Dukes of Zähringen. The city is also culturally important. thun.ch/kulturevents.html. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a weekly market in the Bälliz, which is firmly in the tradition of life in Thun.

If you are in town on Wednesday or Saturday, you should definitely go to the Bälliz. Because that is where the traditional market takes place.

Did you know that you can also explore Thun with a rickshaw?
Pilots show you the wonderful city of Thun.
For those who want to travel differently and especially for people who are not so mobile.
Incidentally, a rickshaw ride is also an original and certainly unforgettable gift idea!

By the way: I am also such a rickshaw driver 😊
