Whitlingham Great Broad is a man-made lake in the Whitlingham Country Park. Huge amounts of material, quarried from the area, was used in construction projects nearby. Today, the area is a beautiful lake, popular with walkers, cyclists and watersports enthusiasts. At one end of the lake, there's an ancient forest and remnants of chalk pits and a Lime kiln.

Whitlingham Great Broad is a man-made lake in the Whitlingham Country Park. The Great Broad and nearby Little Broad were dug for gravel in the 1990s and have now transformed into today’s oasis for wildlife and leisure.

At one end of the lake, there's an ancient forest and remnants of chalk pits and a Lime kiln.
