Hiking

Small caves can be found everywhere in the mountain wall, but their function is still unknown.

Hiking

There is an open cistern below the climbing path. Cisterns were everywhere in Roman cities. They ensured the vital water supply. Therefore, a tour of the ancient cities is always associated with a certain caution. Cisterns do not have to be visible at first glance, are often still full of water and were very much in residential areas and below or close to the Agora.
