The lake has no surface inflow. In the fall it runs empty and remains empty in the winter. Sometime during spring snowmelt, it begins to fill up from an underground tributary. When it is full, it feeds the Lag Prau Tuleritg through an above-ground outflow, which in turn only has an underground outflow. A special feature, and in spring you can never estimate exactly when it will fill up.
