Wehra River Mouth Nature Reserve

The estuary of the Wehra in the Rhine is under nature conservation - no wonder, because countless waterfowl and many different species of fish live here. So you can sit here by the water and enjoy the original nature.

A ca 11ha comprehensive nature reserve at the mouth of the Wehra in the Upper Rhine. Here an extremely high variety of habitats has developed in the smallest area due to the extreme landscape situation. In the meantime, about 128 species of birds have been recorded, of which 60 are on the red list. Here several benches offer an idyllic relaxing break, which should not be missed.

The ferry in Mumpf does not drive the whole day. One should also ask if wheels are taken. The ferry times are: 13.30 - 15.30 and from 18.00 - 19.00. It is only a passenger ferry.
