This ground-fed Seeli is located in the riparian forest near the Aare and is a popular destination for families. This small lake is also called "Uttiger Badi" by the local population. The water is usually only knee-deep in the summer months. In winter, the water level drops and then dries up.
Here it has two official barbecues of the municipality. Incidentally, it is not allowed to fire outside the official fireplaces in the nature reserve.

This small groundwater lake is a rocky desert in winter and a bathing lake in summer. It lies between the Aare and Uttigen, in a nature reserve, which is why it is also called "Uttigenseeli".

When there's water...' (usually in the summer) the "Blauseeli" is a popular place to relax for roasters, dog owners and families with kits and young people from the area. But as always, the principle applies here;
"Where there is a lot of people, there is no peace". Past the Blausseeli, the bicycle and hiking trail leads past on a causeway. It takes you from Thun to Bern in a Schnutz without any major bends. but mutual tolerance is the order of the day.
